Undercover Artist Festival 2017 Program
The vision for our 2017 program was to curate a unique space to showcase work through experiential installations. It was designed to to be inspiring, exciting, thought-provoking, creative, untried, obscure and edgy.
The applications we received featured high quality work from across Australia and New Zealand, including major touring companies such as Cairns-based JUTE Theatre. Its performance of Here we all are. Assembled. by Kathryn Ash featured the work of 2014 Access Arts Achievement Award recipient Doug Robins.
We had workshops and performances by larger companies representing artists with disability and artsworkers with disability, including Victoria’s Back to Back Theatre, and Wielding Theatre and Sydney’s Company of Rogues.
Joining us are a range of stimulating workshops and performances brought to you by Festival favourites Blue Roo Theatre Company, Indelabilityarts, Lorikeet Players and InsideOutside Theatre were back, re-incarnated with fresh, exciting work.
