This year we will be presenting a number of professional development workshop for performing artists with disability and who are d/Deaf.

Whether you are just starting out in your performing arts career, or looking for  new development opportunities, our workshops are designed to provide skills that may be inaccessible to artists through traditional training modes.

With the support of Festival Director Madeleine Little, this workshop will help you learn how to embrace your achievements, skills and prior projects to create a compelling CV that will help you stand out.

Allyship in Disability Arts 101

Wednesday 24 August 2022 - 10:00AM-2:00PM

Presented by Bree Hadley, this one-day workshop is a powerful professional development opportunity for artists, arts workers, and support workers who support the success of d/Deaf, disabled, and neurodiverse artists, and for artists who seek to gain confidence in self-advocacy, leadership, and designing disability-led creative collaborations.

Auslan Dramaturgy of Shakespeare

A continuation of the Auslan Dramaturgy of Shakespeare workshop from Undercover Artist Festival 2021, Racheal Missingham will take you through basic dramaturgy and script analysis before unpacking what it takes to translate an English script into Auslan ready for a performance.
