This year we will be presenting a number of professional development workshop for performing artists with disability and who are d/Deaf.
Whether you are just starting out in your performing arts career, or looking for new development opportunities, our workshops are designed to provide skills that may be inaccessible to artists through traditional training modes.
This workshop will share how to prepare a strong application for an Arts Queensland grant opportunity.
Presented by Bree Hadley, this one-day workshop is a powerful professional development opportunity for artists, arts workers, and support workers who support the success of d/Deaf, disabled, and neurodiverse artists, and for artists who seek to gain confidence in self-advocacy, leadership, and designing disability-led creative collaborations.
A continuation of the Auslan Dramaturgy of Shakespeare workshop from Undercover Artist Festival 2021, Racheal Missingham will take you through basic dramaturgy and script analysis before unpacking what it takes to translate an English script into Auslan ready for a performance.
