Expressions of Interest 101

MONDAY 10 OCTOBER 2022 - 2:00-3:30PM

Learn how to submit an Expression of Interest submission with confidence and clarity in this FREE online workshop!

If the thought of completing an expression of interest (EOI) submission seems scary or has you wondering how to explain your art to someone else clearly, you are not alone – this is a common situation for many artists.

We know there are few accessible arts opportunities for people with disability or who are d/Deaf – making an EOI submission feel even more daunting and competitive.

If this is you, then this workshop is exactly what you need!

Presented by Undercover Artist Festival Director Madeleine Little, this Expressions of Interests 101 Workshop will use the Undercover Artist Festival 2023 EOI process as an example to help you develop a deeper understanding of:

  • How to decide if an opportunity is right for you
  • What to prepare for your expression of interest
  • How to explain your art to a panel of people who do not know you or your work
  • How to understand the questions and best sell the idea of your work
  • How to clearly explain the point of difference your work presents to help it stand out

Not only will this workshop help you in your future applications, you will also have an opportunity to ask questions and learn insights about the Undercover Artist Festival 2023 expressions of interest process.

Although this workshop is designed for d/Deaf and disabled artists, we welcome all all artists to join us! This workshop will be a valuable opportunity for any artist who is looking for further insights.

If you are looking up to upskill your application writing to gain greater opportunities in the performing arts, then register now.

If you need any support or further information about registering for this workshop, or the webform above is inaccessible, please email: UndercoverArtist@cpl.org.au
