Imaan Hadchiti is an Australian-based, Lebanese comedian that you must see. His comedy is one that will have you laughing out of your chair. If he wasn’t a comedian, he’d be outside in a food van flipping burgers because food service, like being a comedian, provides an instant reaction.
With over 20 years of experience in the comedy world, Imaan has performed internationally and made a full-time career out of his love for comedy. Performing for the first time at Undercover Artist Festival in Brisbane, his act is bound to get you out of your safety bubble and craving more live acts. He wants you to be challenged by his humour and take you to the uncomfortable. His show? A full-blown perception bender. He’ll have you laughing, then pausing mid-chuckle like, “Wait…did he just say that?” Yes, he did.
He proudly claims the title of the world’s second shortest comedian, modesty is sexy and so is he (his words, not ours, but hey, funny guys are sexy). Imaan has a unique perspective on disability. It’s not woe is me, but rather, disability is a guarantee, especially in a first world country with us all living so long. It is the most human experience of them all.
His comedy is medicine which he now, jokingly, needs therapy for.
Imaan feels being Lebanese as well as having a disability, has given him a unique perspective to view the world as an outsider, making his observations comedic and hilarious! What you see and hear is a thought-provoking, funny human with a fresh view on life and its intricacies.
Come and see this fully fearless comedian and find out why he’s not just what comedy needs but what you need in this time right now.
You can catch him at Comedy Club, this September at Undercover Artist Festival! Book your tickets now.

Turning the tables of perception
White Noise has emerged from creator Alisha Mclennan Marler’s lived experience as a mother with disability. The work is an ongoing dance of communication – hearing and being heard, being seen and unseen, and the agency to craft our own narrative.

What would our world look like if we truly reached for each other?
Through breathtaking aerial acrobatics and 100 metres of chunky yarn, 6 Degrees explores a fractured world where voices are silenced, connections severed, and power goes unquestioned.
Image: Circus performers create a human pyramid on stage against a black background. One performer balances on top with an arm raised high, while the others support from below, showcasing strength, trust, and teamwork in motion.
