Dilsah is a queer artist based in Meanjin (Brisbane) with roots in Sri Lanka, Switzerland, and France. They are a multidisciplinary artist whose work communicates growth through their art’s reflection.
Dilsah has a background in theatre, dance, and visual art, and as a queer indigenous feminist, they have been involved in an array of projects to dismantle taboos, such as violence against women and gender-diverse people, child trafficking, and societal gender norms.
They are actively working in various community organisations for minorities and on their first autobiographical play.
Undercover Artist acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and we pay our respects to Elders, past, present, and emerging. We are committed to honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their unique cultural and spiritual relationship to land, water and seas and their rich contribution to society.
