Comedy Club

Ft. Imaan Hadchiti and MC Madeleine Stewart

Undercover Artist Festival’s very own stand-up (or sit-down!) comedy event, Comedy Club, returns in 2025!

Madeleine Stewart returns as the MC of Comedy Club! Described by Chortle as ‘a likeable, engaging storyteller’ and ‘tickled by the absurdities of people’, Stewart’s tongue-in-cheek delivery and infectious cheer will leave audiences feeling positively tickled themselves. Metaphorically.

2021 Comedy Club favourite BJ Connolly is back, after going viral on TikTok with his original comedy pop song, I’m Autistic (And I Don’t Get Social Cues). He’s unpredictable and bucket loads of fun. Who knows what he’ll say next!

And for the first time at Undercover Artist Festival, the bold and irreverent Imaan Hadchiti performs live at Comedy Club! Imaan Hadchiti is a daring comedian with a razor-sharp wit and a knack for tackling the topics others avoid. He has been described as ‘uncancellable’, but will the UAF Comedy Club be the gig to change that?

Only one way to find out! Grab a bevvy from the bar and join us at the Comedy Club for some side-splitting, jaw-dropping comedy from some of the finest and funniest comics around.

Note: you may want to use the restroom beforehand.

Undercover Artist Festival is hosted at Queensland Theatre, find out more about purchasing tickets here and venue access here.

Imaan Hadchiti

Standing at just 3.5 ft, Imaan holds a Guinness World Record, for ‘The Worlds Second Shortest Comedian’; finally, all of his hard work of breathing and continuing to exist has paid off.

Original, bold, and unapologetically authentic, Imaan Hadchiti is a daring, comedian with a razor-sharp wit and a knack for tackling the topics others avoid, a powerhouse performer who’s as sharp as he is fearless.

Madeleine Stewart (MC)

BJ Connolly

BJ Connolly loves using his comedy as a platform to inspire other people with autism to become more CONFIDENT.
His comedy performances are always very eccentric and super high energy. He loves dancing around on stage and blowing kisses at the crowd.

In 2022, he released his debut single called “I’m Autistic (I Don’t Get Social Cues)”. His song has been streamed on Spotify in 136 different countries after it went viral on TikTok.

The purpose of his song is to discuss the challenges autistic people often have with dating and picking up social cues. His song is very sexually explicit because there is a lot of stigma in the media about autism and sexuality. His song aims to challenge this stigma and start an important conversation about the sexuality of neurodiverse people.

His proudest comedy moments to date include qualifying for the Queensland State Grand Final of RAW Comedy in 2020 and hosting a comedy show in Lismore, NSW which featured Aussie comedy legend Steady Eddy as the headliner.

BJ also has a very advanced memory. During his stand-up comedy performances he loves asking audience members their birthday and telling them random historical events that happened on their birthday in previous years and making it funny.
