Artists with disability take the lead on discussions of authentic representation and disability cultural safety in the arts sector.
On Our Terms invites artists with disability to speak to their own arts practice, explore collaborative tools, and share insight about artists with disability taking agency in their work. Diving into authentic representation and disability cultural safety, On Our Terms will ask ‘who has the right to tell this story?’ and, perhaps most importantly, ‘who can do it justice?’. This panel will demonstrate the power and the potential disability-led arts has to shift audiences’ perceptions of excellence in the arts.
This panel is available to patrons attending the performance of Personal by Jodee Mundy at the New Benner Theatre, Metro Arts as part of Brisbane Festival.
Undercover Artist Festival is hosted at Queensland Theatre, find out more about purchasing tickets here and venue access here.
