Professional development workshop for performing artists with disability and who are d/Deaf to develop and present a professional CV.
With the support of Festival Director Madeleine Little, this workshop will help you learn how to embrace your achievements, skills and prior projects to create a compelling CV that will help you stand out.
In this workshop, you will learn what a creative, professional CV could look like and how to build your CV to best showcase your artistic practice, attributes, and experience to date.
Walk away from this workshop with a professional CV and headshots ready for your next performing arts opportunity.
Participants are encouraged to bring their current CV or, if they don’t have one, a list of achievements and projects to date. You will also be required to bring a laptop or tablet to work on. Paper templates and resources will be provided where required for accessibility – please indicate this during registration.
Light lunch provided, please indicate dietary requirements during registration. You will also be able to purchase items from the La Boite Espresso Bar before the workshop commences.
Included in the workshop price, every participant will have the opportunity to have their photo taken. With each participant receiving two images to use as professional headshots for all future creative projects and applications.
