A sonic experience like no other, WunderSounds is a musical wonderland filled bringing powerful storytelling and incredible musicianship together for two jam-packed hours of spectacular music!

 

Headlining the event is powerhouse singer/songwriter Emma Tomlinson, who seamlessly blends pop, RNB, alterative and pop-classical genres with her originals and covers. She is supported by the fortright and uninhibited, slacker punk-rock SAMMM. and the stunning Nethra (The Voice Australia 2024), whose music mixes Indian vocal flair with Western music offering a unique, yet accessible sound.

Emma Tomlinson is a singer/songwriter and pianist, known for her powerful blend of pop, RnB, alternative, and pop-classical crossover. Featured on Music Victoria’s 2024 Top Artists Spotify playlist and national media including ABC National News, ABC Radio, Scenestr, Emma’s artistry and advocacy have earned her prestigious awards and national recognition. She has performed at major events including the Women’s State of Origin 2025, FIFA Fan Festival™, Women’s International Cricket T20 AUS vs NZ, Brisbane Festival’s Undercover Artist Festival, and the Australian of the Year Awards. Through her artistry and leadership, Emma drives meaningful change and elevates underrepresented voices across creative and community sectors.

With a love for brutally authentic lyrics and an infectious stage energy, a loyal fan base in Meanjin/Brisbane has seen SAMMM. appear at Mountain Goat Valley Crawl, Yonder Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, and join bills with the likes of WAAX, Regurgitor, STUMPS, RVG and more.

 

Known for his ability to dig deep, SAMMM.’s songwriting touches on taboo struggles with addiction, experience with homelessness, and the difficult road of recovery.

 

 

 

Nethra

 

Nethra is a vocalist and songwriter whose music reflects her cross-cultural upbringing blending Western pop, ballads and acoustic soul with subtle Indian stylistic influences. With over a decade of experience performing across live and digital platforms, she mixes Indian vocal flair with Western music offering a unique, yet accessible sound. Nethra was recently featured as a contestant on The Voice Australia 2024, showcasing her ability to move between genres while maintaining a distinct artistic voice. Her performances are shaped by both tradition and innovation, creating a musical space where different cultures and sounds are embraced.
